Exposed in the walls of Coral Caverns are the fossilized remains of sea-creatures millions and millions of years old. The fossils were left behind by an ancient inland sea...hard to imagine in the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania! But, irrefutable proof lines the walls: coral shaped like heads of lettuce, seaworms, and clams. |
